Verso Cards is a series of hand-painted playing card editions by Tobias Levin. Each deck is a set of 52 US-made playing cards with hand-painted backs and ace of spades, painted in Copenhagen, Denmark, and released in time-limited editions.

About this work
The same flower motif is painted by hand 52 times in a row, a meditation on repetition.
There are no two flowers that are the same, yet they are exactly the same. The balance between chaos and order expresses itself through everything in this way.
A handmade object carries the limitations of the person who made it, and in that it shares something grounded in what is real. A direct statement against the imitation of reality we are seeing today.
Edition details
Set of 52, hand-painted backs and ace of spades in a Japanese oil-based solvent dye ink. US-made playing cards printed on FSC-certified paper from sustainably managed forests, with vegetable-based inks and starch-based laminate. Painted in Copenhagen, Denmark. Each deck is numbered and signed. The edition size will be updated once the 48 hour window has closed.
Packaging
Packaging is handmade in Copenhagen by Elvo.
Payment, Policies and Shipping
Payment is processed securely by Stripe, accepting all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All orders ship free of charge from California. Decks will ship in December 2026.
Cancellation or change requests must be made within 24 hours of placing your order, by email to info@anyoneworldwide.com. We are unable to accommodate requests made after this window, as the deck will already have entered production or been dispatched.
Once your deck has arrived, you have 14 days to let us know if you would like a return. Decks must be returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging; we will coordinate the return with you directly, and your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of the deck reaching us.
If your deck arrives damaged, faulty, or materially not as described, please contact us as soon as possible, within 48 hours of receipt for damage visible on delivery, or within 14 days of discovering any other issue. Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with applicable law.
